Description

YOUTH RACING 420

AGES: 12-18
SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday 9AM - 12PM
DURATION: Four weeks (last session two weeks, all day)
PUBLIC PRICE: $485 MEMBER PRICE: $340
PREREQUISITES: Intermediate 420 or Racing Optimist

The Racing 420 class is for sailors who have taken Intermediate 420 or equivalent and are interested in continuing to expand their sailing skills and learn to race. The class will focus on advanced boat handling techniques and racing tactics in a class with hands-on coaching.

Students are encouraged to participate in the TCYS regatta series held each Friday of the summer. Coaching for the regattas will be provided. Regatta entry fees and boat chartering fees are not included.
